Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping and Handling:

We pack our plants by hand and take great care to ensure that they arrive at their final destination safely. We only send out our healthiest plants that we think can handle travel. Your plant will be carefully wrapped in bubblewrap or tissue paper, and all spaces filled with extra paper or packing peanuts. Most 2" plants are shipped in their original plastic pot with soil. Fragile and big 4" plants are shipped bareroot to ensure their safety and slightly cheaper shipping for you. If you absolutely need the pots, write it in the notes when making your order (small orders only).

We ship out orders on Monday's, Tuesday's and only sometimes Wednesday through USPS, from South Florida. This is to ensure either same week delivery or early next week delivery. Usually, if you order after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, your order will be shipped that following Monday, unless it is Priority shipping. If your shipping is USPS Priority, or an urgent order, it may be shipped out other days of the week but I prefer Monday's and Tuesday's.

Larger bulk orders may be shipped through UPS.  Please allow 3-5 days for your order to be shipped out. Once shipped, it may take up to 5 days to receive for First Class or UPS Ground and 3 days for Priority or UPS 3 Day.

Shipping in Winter:

It is the responsibility of customers residing in areas subject to freezing weather to purchase a Heat Pack and/or Priority Shipping.  While heat packs do not guarantee protection from frost, they will help prevent damage from occurring. Make sure to retrieve the packages as soon as they are delivered!

Shipping in Summer:

Extremely high temperature can cause the plants to rot and die. Make sure to retrieve the packages as soon as they are delivered. Don't let the packages sit under direct sunlight or in mailboxes for more than an hour.

We are not responsible for extreme weather damages. Order at your own risk and please keep the succulent in mind if it can handle cooler or hotter temperatures.

Making and Receiving Your Order:

Please make sure all addresses are input correctly and you are home to receive the package within 1-2 hours of it being delivered-for safety. We are not responsible for plants shipped out to incorrect addresses and will not issue refund for this.

When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, and follow the care instructions in the instructions provided.  Our plants are shipped dry for extra safety. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.  Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care. Dry air plants can also rebound quickly with water.

Return and Refund Policy:

We package the plants and make sure the delivery service knows they are fragile, however; once it is shipped it is out of our hands. In the case something happens, we do not accept returns, as the plant will not survive. We offer refunds for certain damaged plants and a picture of the succulents/air plants and box MUST be sent in within 24 hours of the purchase. Include your order number and the picture of plants and send it to our email---Thesandysuccs@gmail.com (keep a look out for an updated email soon).

What is covered for Refunds?

1. Broken stems or many leaves missing compared to the size of the plant

2. Disease/Rotted stem

3. Arrived dead plants

4. Air plants that fall apart upon delivery

5. Crushed succulents

6. Obvious damage to pots or accessories or custom orders that cannot be easily fixed

What is not covered for a refund?

1. Soil misplaced

2. A couple of leaves broken or falling off (you can use these leaves to create new succulents).

3. Slightly different coloration or shape of succulents from the image. If it looks completely different that is an exception, but succulents can change coloring after being in a box. Succulents change colors a lot!

4. A few dried or wilted leaves. Again, succulents bounce back fast.

5. Missing packages that were delivered correctly to the assigned address. Again, we do not accept returns.

6. If I know the plant is not dead. (A quick Google search can also prove this if necessary)

7. Weather Damage to plants that did not have a heat pack or at least Priority shipping. You take the risk for longer shipping or no heat pack, when there are extreme temperatures in your area.

*We reserve the right to determine if you get a partial refund or full refund. Partial refund could be for one or two plants damaged but other plants ordered in the same order are still healthy.*

*We do not send out replacements, only refunds* You are welcome to try again with us by reordering. The majority of time, plants are safely shipped to you especially with Priority Shipping.
